My Journal Tips
I began journaling in my childhood and teen years and, though there was a large gap in my life where I stopped, I started back up when I became a mother.
Though not always pen and paper, often it was keyboard and computer, I have found journaling to be a beautiful experience of documenting life, finding gratitude, and working through things.
- Choose a method that works for you – whether a pretty lined journal and words only, or a blank page journal that you can draw in too or even a private blog where we can journal your thoughts – just pick what works best for you and your personality and go from there.
- Be flexible – if you decide that one method of journaling isn’t for you, don’t throw all journaling out the window, move onto another method and idea.
- But the fun and fancy journaling gear – if you enjoy the tools of the trade of the hobbies you do, then go for it, buy the fun and pretty materials as this could help keep you motivated in keeping the habit of journaling.
